Course fees for the academic year 2010-2011 are 1494.6 euros for all students, regardless of their origin.

At the beginning of the course, students receive notice to pay their fees. They must be paid within the deadline set by the university, in euros, by direct payment or bank transfer, made payable to "Universidad de Cantabria". This payment may be done in one complete payment, or in two 50% instalments.

Failure to pay fees when required will mean exclusion from the course.

Grants

For Spanish students:

• They may be able to apply for a Erasmus mobility grant (provided they have not had it before).

For community students:

• It is possible to request a mobility grant from the Ministry of Education and Science only for those students with a qualification on the student's record equal or above 6.5 (in the Spanish scale of 1 to 10) or 1.5 (in the Spanish scale of 1 to 4).

For non community students:

• It is possible to request grants from the Ministry of Education and Science through the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (www.aeci.es).

Loans

Students may apply to the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation loan. They must have Spanish nationality, be from an E.U. country or from out of an E.U. country with residence permit, provided they have lived in Spain during the four years before the application (Information sheet).
